This Door Supervisor course is ideal for anyone wishing to get SIA Licence and work in the security industry as a door supervisor or security guard. Obtaining the Level 2 Door Supervisor qualification is the first step towards getting an SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
With a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence, you are permitted to work in a wide variety of environments. From retail security to working the doors in high-end night clubs.
Security professionals who have a door supervisor licence can also carry out other activities, for example work as security guards and keyholders.

Modules
The Course is spread over four mandatory units:
- Unit 1: Principles of working in the private security industry
- Unit 2: Principles of working as a door supervisor in the private security industry
- Unit 3 : Application of conflict management in the private security industry
- Unit 4: Application of physical intervention skills in the private security industry
To pass the Door Supervisor course you will have to sit three multiple choice question examinations.
- For Unit 1 you will be expected to answer 72 multiple choice questions with a duration of 1 hour 50 minutes and a pass mark of 51 questions.
- For Unit 2 you will be expected to answer 50 multiple choice questions with a duration of 1 hour 15 minutes and a pass mark of 35 questions.
- For Unit 3 you will be expected to answer 20 multiple choice questions with a duration of 30 minutes and a pass mark of 14 questions..
- For Unit 4 you will be expected to answer 30 multiple choice questions with a duration of 45 minutes and a pass mark of 24 questions.
Course Entry Guidelines
To register for the course, all candidates must be aged 18 and over.
It is an SIA requirement that training centres must confirm that each learner is sufficiently qualified in First Aid or Emergency First Aid. Therefore, all candidates will need to show that they hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
The First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate must be valid for at least 12 months from the course start date.
You will need to present your First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate to Training4Employment before you start SIA Door Supervisor training.
