What makes NWTC different?
Apart from our state of the art training facility, which equips apprentices with the skills they need not only now but for engineering into the future.
Our teaching and technical staff give our apprentices the underpinning knowledge and right behaviours to support their practical skills. These staff are occupationally competent, qualified and their ongoing CPD ensures their skills and knowledge remains relevant for todays industry.
They teach and assess on their subject matter ensuring quality teaching, subject knowledge and expertise. Our technical assessors attend site and work with our employers to conduct observations on progress and behavioural reviews.
We view our employers as partners, we work with them visiting site ato understand key aspects of their business, this supports the programme delivery and contextualises learning for their apprentices. We support any additional requirements the employer may have to upskill their workforce not only through apprenticeship, but higher apprenticeships, commercial and bespoke training courses.
We engage with and support a range of partners and forums to make sure the standards we offer and the way we deliver them remains relevant and are the most appropriate for our employers.
Our recruitment service supports our employers to ensure they recruit the right candidate for the role and their business. We offer a range of delivery models and have a residential option to give flexibility.
At NWTC we celebrate our success with an annual awards evening, we nominate our apprentices and employers for local and national awards, recognising our apprentices achievements and our employers support in this process.
We encourage our apprentices and employers to become STEM ambassadors, as we support and engage in schools, the community and workplace to seek the potential engineers of the future.
And that’s what makes NWTC different….
