JMH training was established in 2001. Our highly experienced staff have been involved in alternative education for nearly 20 years and have worked with Girls and Boys all across Merseyside.
The programme concentrates on the following key areas
- Increased attendance
- Engaging with others
- Building confidence and motivation
- Behavioural improvements
- Appropriate qualifications
We achieve this by working in small numbers and offer one to one support to provide our student’s tailor- made programmes as well as offering transport to and from the learning site.
We offer both full time and part time places and short term (respite) and long term placements
We offer alternative education provision to pupils who may struggle with mainstream education. We focus on the delivery of Sports and functional skills plus wrap around enrichment activities which motivate, engage and build confidence and self-esteem and also lead to increased attendance, engagement, motivation, improved behaviour that will eventually lead to qualifications.
We offer various qualifications including sports qualifications:
- Sports Leaders Uk - Level 1 & Level 2
- Open Awards - Functional Skills - Entry Level 1, Entry Level 2, Entry Level 3, Level 1 & Level 2
- Enrichment activities to motivate and encourage participation
“I was desperately unhappy in school, same thing every day stuck in a classroom looking at the whiteboard. I'd end up in some kind of trouble.
JMH understood this, my classroom is now the sports hall, I'm on my way to becoming a coach and i've never felt happier.
The support and guidance they have given me here has literally changed my life for the better and I have realised school isn't for everyone.”
“My daughter loves it here she is much happier now, she says it's like a little family, the JMH family.
I am grateful for the support, care and the personal touch that JMH gives, they go above and beyond and are always there to help you even at weekends and during holidays.
They have been a godsend to me with my Macy, she is like a different kid. I couldn't recommend them enough”
