Course Description
This qualification prepares candidates for the initial verification and certification of electrical installation work, including three phase.
The course is aimed at practising electricians looking to enhance their knowledge of inspection and testing in line with the most up to date requirements and documentation.
Theory Overview
- Completing the safe isolation of electrical circuits and installations
- Initial verification of electrical installations
- Safe testing and commissioning of electrical installations
- Testing before circuits are energised
- Testing energised installations
Practical Overview
Throughout the 4 day training period practical testing procedures will be demonstrated and delegates will have the opportunity to take part.
On successful completion of the course candidates may wish to progress on to the C&G 2391/51 Periodic Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations.
